I have an unaltered '59 Featherweight 243 that I'd like to change mounts on.
I'm confused,I thought regular Talley lightweights would fit.
Midway says post 64 on all of them.

What do I need to look for ?
Thanks,
Mike

Look for someone other than Midway, I refuse to buy from them. But, they are the same.

Talley part # 930702. 1" matte black lows are pretty much the only ones I run on my pre 64's (other than my 375 H&H). However, my preference is for the Leupold dual dovetails. What size/type scope are you thinking about puting on your rifle??.

You may want to go with an extended ring. Look for the ones with the .860" spacings. Off the top of my head, the 1" extended lows (matte black) is part # 93X702...

I have extra lows on standard pre-64 30-06 with that scope.
