I'm using a 21st Century expander die on some 7 stw brass. The die body is so short that even when it is barely screwed into the press I can only lower the press arm about 1/2 way due to the long length of the brass. I'm worried I could possibly crush the neck of the brass. I'm I OK with just lowering the arm half way, or do I need to find a die with a longer body?
