I live in Seahawk country, so get to read about them a lot here.
History shows us that teams who rise to the top and win a Super Bowl, really get laid into by everyone the following year. Each team thinks of you as "thier" super bowl and bring it all out. That, plus it being the first game of the season.... really REALLY hard to call it and I have no dog in the fight as I kinda like both teams.
I think the Packers come out ahead in this one, 31-24, mostly on Aaron Rogers amazing talent and the new look D in Packer land VS a team everyone has had a whole year to look at and game plan for with no big changes.
Should be a great game, and in doubt deep into the 4th quarter.
LOVE God, LOVE your family, LOVE your country, LIKE guns and sports.
About 2016 team "R" candidates "We definitely need a crew with a sack of balls the size of hot water bottles, bloviated estrogen leaking feel-gooders need not apply." Gunner 500
Should be a good game. I like Aaron Rogers and Like Russell Wilson, too. Watched a piece on ESPN about his improvements in reads and decision-making speeds and how it has improved. I like pretty much everything about the Hawks except their mouthy cornerback.
Packer's D is garbage so long as Dom Capers is running the show.
There IS that.... Only way GB wins games is by Rodgers scoring more points than the D gives up.. As long as that damn dumb Dom is head of D the pack will need 25+ just to break even..

I'm rather excited for this game, I think the match up will be a good litmus test for both camps. The Raiders/Seahawks game in the preseason was an eye opener; Seattle played quite poorly. The Raiders had no trouble running up the middle, and Eddie Lacy will clean house. Richard Sherman should incite some panic, but Percy Harvin will blow out something and be out all year again.
21-14 Packers Victory
127 rushing yds from Lacy 1 Pick from HaHa 1 TD to Nelson 1 TD to Richard Rodgers 1 TD from Lacy
Sorry, don' t shiv a git. Wasting weekends watching shpadorts, hours on end, is a huge waste of time and money. Not interested in any "thugball". When the country is going to Hell, I will NOT be a part of this Bread and Circus's Sports is for kids (participating in), when you're an adult, stop playing games and exercise your brain instead. F the nfl, nba.
As they say in the investing game, "Past performance is not a predictor of future results."
It's a whole new year, no team will ever replay a game, new people do matter, and old champions get older. If the outcome was determined solely by statistics, there'd be no need to play.
Unlike Penobscot 99, I'll be watching and rooting for my Packers.

Perhaps you can use the free weekend to brush up on sentence structure?
right.....15-1 @ home the last two years. Raising the Championship banner before the game after Sound Garden tears it up. Just heard GB'S center is out...starting a rookie
Mebane will destroy the A-Gap. Prayers sent!
Jed York does not own the 49ers; Russell Wilson does.
In preparation, I'm drinking Terrapin's 'Hopsecutioner IPA' and Straight to Ale's 'Monkeynaut IPA'.
okok, Next man up has been a righteous and habitually performing mentality. Good luck with the Seahawks. (Three sacks from Matthews and Peppers are a comin')

I predict Percy Harvin will go down on his first Kickoff Return!
