I have a 99 in 300 savage that i have had a couple of years and finally got around to shooting yesterday. It shoots very well single loaded, but if i load any rounds in the magazine they will not rotate back around high enough for the bolt to pick the round up. I am assumeing that there is a weak spring in there, but I know nothing about the innerds of a 99. Any insight would be appreiciated (sp). Tom

There is a "stickie" titled Misc Good Info. You will find your answer there.

That's the info you need. Someone took the small screw out that is on the upper left side of the receiver and let the rotor unwind. You just need to wind it up again. Let us know if you need help.
