They are not the same bolts! I was showing the Nosler Poooosh feed bolt that is not CRF. Someone called it a Howa in XXXX.

You have them presented as a bolt with an issue on the left and then that same bolt coming back with the issue still present on the right. You're ruining this fine forum with innuendo of mis-repair. Please stop.

I used the picture of the Pooosh feed Nosler bolt to show that it lacks Control Round Feed. CRF is a desirable feature on upscale hunting rifles.
On top of all that it's Howa action! LOL

Here is the site that tells the story of the Nosler bolt face. http://forum.nosler.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=19904

You simply posted a picture with no explanation, leaving others to assume you meant the rifle in question. It's unbecoming of civilized sportsmen to insinuate such a thing.

From what I discovered, maybe by our own Mule Deer, it is not a Howa action, but it is a Nosler proprietary action designed by the same guy that designed the Howa actions. A close similarity, but not exactly a Howa action copy. Maybe MD will chime in a correct me if/where I'm wrong. I'm really not too worried about it anyway though. Looks like it's gonna shoot.
Savage, in case you missed it, your link is from a thread over 2 yrs old.

Howa actions have features I prefer to the Rem. 700, and although haven't owned one, I am always looking for the right one.
Howa action or not, I'd be very happy with that rifle!
I have been looking at them too. It looks like a lot of rifle for the money.
It is a fine looking rifle, and looks like it is going to perform well for you.
Congrats!

Hell, what's wrong with a Howa action? I thought they were fine rifles, I know the few Howa rifle's I've been around functioned perfectly and accuracy was fine........................Hb

The rifle lacks CRF and a three position safety that controls the firing pin. Not up to minimum standards.

I'm not really a Model 70 fanboy, I've owned several but most were too heavy for My taste and CRF and three position safety's aren't very high on My priority list when I'm picking out a new rifle......................Hb
