I own three Remington 600's...Unfortunately not one of the .223's. They supposedly only made 315 in that caliber and the rifles were produced from 1964-1967. Great rifles.

wow... The bidding will surely start again if the owner relists. The last i saw went for over 5k at that was two or three years ago. At a gunshow a few years ago a dealer had one in a glass case and wanted over 6k for it. But few people walk around at gunshows with that kind of money.

I'll take two NULAs with Leups aboard instead, please.

While I understand why there are people interested in collecting rare and antiqued firearms, I'm not one of them. Firearms are for shooting, so you'll never catch me spending $8.00, much less $8,000.00 on a firearm that's gonna sit in the safe, or a glass box ... no sir, not me ...
Make mine a custom build, for whatever it's intended targets are, and let me get to trippin' the trigger! .............

315! That is mass production! I have rifles that are one of 1 of 50 and 1 of 40 and several others 1 of under 250. You could not get a grand for any of them in a looney bin.
Scarcity does not account for this madness. What phase is the moon in?

The place where the guy is from is a little town near Merced CA. There aren't even 500 people living there (at least last time I was there 2002ish).

I've got a Belgium made Browning Medallion Grade in 222 Remington. They only made 25 of that model,in that caliber. It is fully engraved on the action and floorplate and has beautiful wood, and I paid about 20% of what that Remington 600 got up to.And I only got it about 6 months ago.
Now what do you think is worth more-a fully engraved,Belgium made Browning that they only made 25 of,or a Remington 600 with plastic parts thats they made 315 of?
I think I'll try to sell my Medallion grade for $8000.

Buddy of mine has an Enfield No4 MK1T one of 60 manufactured by Holland and Holland in wwII. Correct 5 groove barrel, crate, Scope Tin, Scope, Mount, and paperwork with all #'s as they should be.
How much you thinkk that un would bring?

I did though use that money and bought 3 more Brownings. WB.

Gee,would have thought there were enuff "trust fund" kids out there to have snapped up that 'bargan'. Personally, I would pay $8000 for say, half interest in the company.
