I've heard nothing bad about them but as always stated, it's no Aimpoint.

Which brings up the question, does it have to be? I run a Burris Fast Fire II on my Buckmark pistol and it works fine for it's intended use, it's no RMR either but it works and is just as rugged as fiber optic sights. (Which I have broken)

I may try one on my cheap gun if irons alone don't work out.

As for the review, who knows. Would I trust my life to one? No but you have back up irons don't you?

I have one on a MP 15-22, perfect in that application.

Yep back up Irons. Called aimpoint on the T2 yesterday still not released. The main advantage it seems is a better coating on the optic to enhance performance with a magnifier. I may wait and look thru one but thinking the T1 or H1 makes just as much sense. I don't use magnifiers on aimpoints.
