I believe that Florida issues the most widely accepted non-resident permit, of those states which issue to non-residents.
Even now that my home state issues a permit, many places that i go are not covered, and even my Florida permit isn't perfect in that regard.
My Florida permit is due for re-up and I'm wondering if I haven't missed a bet somewhere. A Michigan permit would cover anywhere I go on a regular basis, but they do not issue to non-resident?
Ideas???

Yeah, UL... that's the site I've been using.
Hoping that I missed something somewhere?

Or actually, the sites are similar, but this is the one I've been researching. Handgunlaw.us

The only State that concerns me is Minnesota. Neither an IL or Florida permit is honored there...
Still have some family there and frequently visit the north shore area...

A Utah permit gains me Minnesota, but loses me Florida. Both are places I frequently frequent...
The utah permit is probably as good as any for most who desire a second permit, but i'm trying to keep myself to 2 permits and not lose anything...
