For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Great pics all, thanks for posting!

Mojo, everything on the G15 works except the flash, which is fine.

We were out at a friend's farm, insane amount of old iron, buildings, pickers would love it. Top secret location way out in the hills....grin

Ethan, the only thing I know about using a camera is subject matter makes 99% of an interesting pic.
Old 'junk' has always kinda fascinated me. The build quality on most of that old stuff is really good.

Fall showed back up today. It felt halfway chilly this morning.

5 Ponds Wilderness in the Adirondacks. About 5 miles from the closest road. (yes you can still get that far from a road in NY)

Sharptails in September. The old fellow is 11 this year and is deaf. He is pure visual in tracking where I am and still gets on the birds. Just stays closer now.

A little fellow packing away the calories

A big fellow that was burping away looking for a cow. I was able to get his attention long enough for a couple of frames. Moose are just starting to go into the rut here.

He had enough and left for the trees

Best Dove/Duck hunting I ever got into was when the dairy behind my boss's house didn't get 80acres of milo silage cut before frost.

I've never seen so many birds, that late in the season in one spot.

Had to be what hunting passenger pigeons was like 200 years ago..
