Just an example of the double standard imposed upon us.

We are not allowed to use the same words. But they can use them all they want....

The Bill of Rights is just that. It is not the Bill of Needs as determined by some liberal know it all.

Politicians and diapers should be changed often for precisely the same reason.

A few years back in DC there was a young, well-educated, but naive civil servant type doing a TV interview who used the word "[bleep]" (properly, I might add). Before the local press and "minority" groups got through with him, he was out of a job....

Wonder what HE thinks about freedom of speech.

Consequences? For what? The word "[bleep]" is in no way connected with or related to the racial slur "[bleep]" from an etymology standpoint. Sometimes people take offense out of ignorance or because they're searching for a reason to take offense and put someone out of work. We had a local talk radio personality use "[bleep]" in proper context on the air, and then spend the next 2 days educating ignorant goons, mostly white I might add, who felt the need to show how PC they are and call in to show their disgust over the use of a racial slur on the air, and then were embarrassed at their ignorance. Then there were those "too PC" types that took the stance that if the word sounded like "[bleep]" and offended, even if offended out of the total ignorance of those offended, then using it was wrong! IDIOTS!

[bleep]-very reluctant to give or spend anything;stingy

That's what the word means, for those of you who might not know.It was commonly used at one time but was fased out of common use when the racial slur that it sounds like became so commonly used in the 1800s.

Why people even say "[bleep]" doesn't make much sense, other than to use a big word to say stingy.Doesn't matter if it doesn't have anything to do with that other word (and it doesn't,at all-they are just two words that sound alike). The problem is,is that most of the population doesn't know the difference, and you don't want to be showing off your vocabulary to your friends one day,and suddenly have to be trying to explain that you only meant that someone was stingy while you're getting your head bashed in with a tire iron.

I've seen worse happen, for lesser offenses.

Man sure is screwed up.God must be having a good time, laughing at us over the trouble we're having with the word "[bleep]".

WB.

The world sure is a funny place. I've been called a Cracker several times and always took it as a compliment, About the same as being called a Yank. You gotta love the innuendo with the white chick (aka duckling) being the minority in the group!
