I'm at my Sainted Mother's home and she's making Boeuf Bourguignon. Her recipe is a cross between Julia Child's,The Joy of Cooking and her own culinary prowess. This house smells wonderful. Anyone else have something special going right now? smile

I got a pork loin cooking marinated with local chilli powder/cumen/oregano/garlic/red pepper/black pepper/olive oil/lime juice... adding bay leaf and red onion on top.

I'll make mashed taters and garlic bread.

It's a shame she's wasting such a wonderful meal on such an unsophisticated palate...

Sam try the ground pork burgers from Publix. They're great!!!

Made one the other night with a fried green tomato and pimento cheese. Saw it on a very reputable local Southern restaurant menu and man was it good.

Cold here tonight so it's a stuffed pork chop with navy beans and cornbread.

The salmon burgers from Publix, coat them with teriyaki when you put them on the grill. Top off with a slice of swiss or provolone on a toasted Sweet Hawaiian bun. Talk about a good burger!

I'm cooking a big ole pot of homemade beef stew with Sirloin tips. Just put the cornbread in the oven. 15 minutes to go!

Chicken and Dumplings, yum. Hadn't made it in awhile. Baked a squash from the garden. Left over pear empanitas for dessert.

I have a funeral to attend tomorrow up in Jax, and that will take all day.
Tuesday though, I am going to build a fire in my outdoor cooking area, and make a big pot of Pinto beans and ham. That, with cornbread, salad and beer, will be dinner Tue night. laugh

David, those pork 'burgers' from Publix are good. I have some in the freezer now.

Not at the moment but... I'm heading to Austin later this week.
And she's stunning... I've out kicked the coverage my entire life but this one is truly amazing. I was going to marry her after high school but I got caught with my tongue in the mouth of a blonde named Tracy.
