The ones I have seen used have resulted in dead deer but to say they are explosive is an understatement. A friend's nephew used one last season with a high shoulder shot, no exit and it ruptured the stomach I guess with shrapnel. It was a real mess.

Too explosive for my liking and this includes experience with antelope, impala and warthog.

I stay far far away from the 95 SST in a 243 Win.

Similar to my experience with the 150 grain .308 in a .308 Win. It was like using a varmint bullet.

I have been wondering the same since I have been unable to locate 95gr BTs. Per my research as long as impact velocities are kept below 2800-2900 claims are it should be fine.
I have not tried them yet, so I would leave the terminal effects to those with the experience, but if I was using them I would keep velocities moderate and try for soft-tissue-only shots.
I guess for paper punching they wouldn't be bad.

I'm shooting them out of a 6-284 at 3365. Effective bullet but as stated above they are a bit distructive.
