An old hand in the smith business once told me that, if you're good, it isn't how much work you can take in. It's how much work you can get out.

Everything I've seen from Eddie is beyond good.

Ever notice how old school smiths don't seem to hunt much?

Then there's the well known phenomena of "gunsmith time," which somehow seems to apply equally to barrel makers and stock makers, as well.

Hope you tag out, Eddie. smile

I emailed Eddie about a month or so back about a barrel swap I'm looking to do. He replied and said he was completely swamped with work and wouldn't take on anymore at the time.

Not busting his chops at all fellas. Eddie is way worth the wait. Was sincerely inquiring about his health.

Eddie does the best bedding and coating jobs I have ever seen.

Kill a big one Eddie.

We talked a little last week. I know he has been taking his boy up north hunting. He sounds pretty busy as well. He's a great guy to work with

I know Eddie gets raves for his coating skills, and rightfully so from the pics I've seen. Seems he is very detail and quality oriented in his work. Anyone ever use him for a complete build? I'm looking for someone to build one using the parts I've gathered, and I'm wondering how he is for building real accurate rifles.

He built my heavy 6XC. Chambered it, coated it, bedded it, etc. Rifle is a hammer...

The man stays busy for a good reason.
