Good luck ND.. Got back from my elk hunt we got 2bulls.. The owner turned into a drunk.. Was not a good trip never went mule deer hunting came home early.. Been with this outfitter for years never had a problem before.... Things change i guess.. Was bummed out cause of everything that happen on the trip.. Looking forward to heading up north...
I did get a wolf tag so who knows maybe the hunting gods will shine down and make up for my Elk trip.... LOL

20 miles out of Gillette Wyoming, Nathan is driving, I'm in back seat, supposed to be sleeping but I can hear the co pilot snoring....  so, I am awake, kinda like I figured.

I drove through Wyoming last week moving my mom home from California. Could not believe the amount of speed goats and a few elk we saw. Saw Elk right down by the interstate in Utah as we came through. Can't wait to see your pictures.

We used to do the drive straight thru thing too for a few years until those of us who are a little longer in tooth had a bit harder of a time recovering at 10K feet. 27 hrs for us to get to CO and 19 to WY. At least gas is down for you. We have a town near here in a price war. Regular there today was $2.77/gal! Hope this finds you all set up and ready to hunt. Keep that camera handy!

I was wondering if you were going straight through. my place is available if you need a layover spot on the way back. we're kind of a halfway point from MN to CO. I can be in grand forks in 9 hours and colorado springs in 7.

Frost on the pumpkin up here this morning boys! This here is a killing frost, good and heavy. Deer camp is right around the corner, I know this. I'm up to "speed" on theses types of signs. Signs like... I nearly hit a decent buck with the Rammer on the way to work, and the deer camp beard is in, full as ever. There has been no trimming at all this season so you can all bow to my dominance!! You all will cower when I walk in and have respect for me out of the sheer size of my rack.

26 degrees here this morning in the Northland, fall is definetly in the air, seen lots of deer that last week, another week and we'll be taking the kids hunting. Should be a blast. Cant wait to see ND's pics, hope all is eventful and prosperous! take care all!

Got my buck this morning, 6 point. Damage to the Ranger left front fender, grill, headlight assembly, corner marker light.
