I've been using Bullseye for my practice ammo in .380, 9mm, and .45ACP. My supply is getting low and I've been considering switching to either HP38 or Titegroup. I'd like to use something clean burning and low flash, does either one of these fill that bill? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have used Titegroup in my 41 mag and it seems to be a real good powder.
For 38, 357, 9mm and 45 acp, I use Win 231.

I have found TiteGroup to be one of the most flexible handgun powders. It is very clean, efficient, low flash and every load that I have used it in has been very, very accurate. It is hard to go wrong with TiteGroup.

I use HP38 (aka W231) for my 9mm reloads and really like the powder. I have not tried Titegroup but have heard very good things about it.

Another vote for Titegroup.
I don't reload for the .380 anymore, but I love Titegroup for .45 ACP. It's clean enough--cleaner than Bullseye. If you can get your hands on some, it's worth a try.

Titegroup. It works very well in everything I have used it in and that is a bunch.

If you can find any, PowerPistol is your huckleberry.........It's pretty much all I use any more for 9mm's & 45's.

If you can find ANY medium- to fast-burning pistol powders, you aren't around here.

Shot some .45LC rounds loaded with Titegroup today, last week shot some .44 loaded with it, have also used it in .45ACP, maybe 10mm, I'll have to check that one. Seems to work good. It was easier to find than most others, although I have managed some Power Pistol and Unique. What I can't find in my area is Universal.

Some info I found said that static is a problem in powder throwers with Tite Group. Also, light loads produce some hard to clean fouling. I generally load just short of max so shouldn't be a problem. I haven't tried to buy any yet but there is more powder showing up with each passing month. Hope it keeps coming.

TiteGroup is quickly catching up with Bullseye for the most blown up pistols.
Just something to consider.

RS ^This^ With the caution to be very careful not to double-charge. But you've been watching that with Bullseye, I'm sure.

Okay. Let me try this again. What is your source for that claim? I'm not arguing it, but it's the first I've heard it stated thus.

HP 38/231 works well in 9mm,45ACP 38SPL, and light 357. I was able to get another 8# from PV a couple months ago. I have not tried it in 380.
