Ohhhhh...the guy told you he had 55 gr. partitions....you didn't read it off the box.

In that case, he's wrong.

Told, seen, what's the difference? Repeat 'er often enough and it becomes part of the lore. Right?

whistle

My feeble contribution to the .224 60gr Partition from a 22-250 sorta mythology aspect, is that having killed deer with it, the bullet works just peachy.

Didn't have to grunt too hard to make 'em shoot, either. Just switched from my usual 34gr IMR 4064 varmint load (55gr Btip), to a 38gr IMR 4350 charge for the 60gr Parttition and she worked fine.

Exit hole on the first expired whitetail was about 50% larger than the original diameter, so figure it expanded just about how it should have?

60 partition shoots great. I have loaded them for a browning 22250, a Tikka 22250, and 2 different 223 rifles. The only one I ever had trouble with was an SPS 700 stainless 22 250. Would not shoot the 60 partition or 64 powerpoint worth a darn, no matter what I tried.
