This moose walked through my yard pretty fast today, and I finally caught-up with it on the road a block away from my house. It has three brow tines at one side, and the antlers measure somewhere under 50" across, I imagine. I was too excited about being able to see a bull moose with so large antlers this early, and forgot to measure the antlers by looking at them from about 50 yards away. It's in a beautiful shape, and as you can see...wearing either cowboy boots or some pointy shoes

I have never hunted moose. I'd shoot that one.

Great pic. Moose photos dont get old. Your camera take quite vivid pics, I might add!
I will guess under 50 myself, but he's got 2 months to make it though
Do it today. Tomorrow there may be a law against it. NRA Life Member

Glad to post the moose picture for you to look at. I don't remember, but the mark on the shoulder may be a slight fold on the hide when the leg is stretched forward. When you look at the photo, notice the far leg bone coming up to meet the near leg bone just behind the elbow. That's the spot I prefer the most when pulling the trigger, but most times the near leg bone is right in the way, so I aim to barely miss the bone on this leg (right behind it).
