Rumor has it that Ken Jorgenson gifted John Taffin with the first one manufactured.
Jason at Lipseys said "Stay Tuned". Looking forward to it. I've got a standard Bearcat and a Shopkeeper. I like them both. I think an adjustable sighted one would be nice.
What say you???

That would be good. Nearly ever one I've ever owned has not shot to point of aim. Haven't shot my new Shopkeeper, yet, so maybe I'll get lucky with it. The great thing about a .22 with fixed sights is that you can usually find at least one variety of ammo that will shoot to POA.

I say great! The fixed sight is the only thing that's stopped me from buying a second one. Bought one many years ago at a gun show and POI was several inches low and about 4 inches right of POA for me. Should'a learned my lesson but I got a New Vaquero several years later and it too was way low and way right for me. Except for a spitting range defensive piece I have no use for a grooved top strap as a rear sight. But one with adjustable sights....that's better.

I think that such a handgun, especially if equipped with a 22WMR cylinder as well, would be a hit.

I guess I am lucky as mine shoots, and very well, dead to the sights at 25 yards with the CCI Mini-Mag so no interest here. I did come darn close to having it converted to 32 H&R but figured the two Single Six's I already had were just fine.

I'll buy two, and have told them as much repeatedly. I had Dave Clements install his fine adjustable sights on my bearcat and it makes a perfect little kit gun.

Oh damn, I would pick up a couple of those. I have been holding off sending one into Clements for while and looking to pick one up used instead. This might be the perfect solution.

I would buy a Shopkeeper with adjustable sights. It looks and feels like a great little gun, but I was not going to spend $500 on a Kentucky windage experiment. A .22 WMR cylinder would be nice, also.

100% agree...adjustable sights and a .22 Magnum cylinder would be a winner...and in STAINLESS!!

They'd sell like crazy.
But if Ruger ever puts a 4" barrel and adjustable sights on the LCRX, I think you'll see the most popular "kit gun" in history.

I had a stainless Bearcat, the shiny fixed sights didn't work for me. Looked at getting Clements sights and probably should have as it was the most accurate "Kit Gun" I had. "What say you???" I'd buy one (maybe two) in a heartbeat... I hope it is true!!! Jerry Unfortunately Not Mine;

Mine shoots very well just as it is and nothing to get knocked out of alignment.

Travis AGREED! In spades! The thought of such a gun gives one cause to grin. Yep, it'd be the number 1 of all time the day it hit the market.

Travis Adjustable sights and a 3" barrel would be fine, too.

I'd donate a kidney for a double action 22 revolver with a long (as in other than snubnose) barrel.
