By the time slavery ended, I'd be surprised if the majority of slaves were not born here. Americans by birthright. Doubt that.. They weren't even considered human beings by the government until several years after the war.. were considered to be 3/5ths human and that's what their votes counted, 3/5ths of a vote. Well, not exactly. That was a compromise for the purpose of the census to apportion population for the House of Representatives. I guess that does sound better to some.. kinda takes the edge off a bit, doesn't it?

If this is true, we should keep it quiet. IMO we were doing the right thing and it backfired.
Remember Iran-Contra? We were doing what had to be done then, also, and this is similar. you can't be serious. Providing munitions and SAMs to muslim terrorists is 'the right thing to do'? Geez!! Sure. They'll use them to kill each other.

It's obvious our people were there for a reason. Missiles, guns, bombs, what difference does it make? The difference was how our people were ignored when things went wrong and the "cavalry" was ordered to stand down followed by a huge cover up by people who did not care because they were only worried about saving themselves. kwg
