My wife and I purchased this hunt for our family and we are unable to make the trip. Outfitter was/is willing to reschedule the trip for 2016, however we are unable to take the trip then either and have elected to sell this adventure.

Safari is 10 days (June 13-24, 2015) for four hunters with ESP Safaris (Steyn Potgieter) in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. This hunt is for dangerous or plains game, rifle or archery. Two hunters per professional hunter. Includes pick up and drop off in Johannesburg. Includes $4,000 of trophy fees! The value of this hunt is $20,000 USD. Selling for $9,300 USD.

It is an extraordinary value. and the Potgieter family, well known in SA, includes many professional hunters. I do not know Steyn but hunted with two others. Good folks.

Lots of interest in this trip and I'll try to answer some of the questions that have been asked.
There are 42 different plains game animals, five "other" game animals and ten species of dangerous game. It's ala carte. Steyn will tailor the trip for the species you're interested in pursuing. Trophy fees depend on the game animal.
To my knowledge, additional costs include airfare to Johannesburg, value added tax, gratuity, personal expenses, dip and pack and taxidermy costs (taxidermist of your choice if you elect to mount your animals). Gary Johns, the ESP Safaris US rep, can insure your party is made fully aware of any and all additional expenses and answer any questions.
ESP Safaris would like this trip to take place during the dates we reserved, however they are willing to push the trip into 2016 if necessary.

Man, that's like $2K per guy for 10 days of guided hunting in South Africa, with $4K credit towards trophies. Cheap as heck. Someone should jump on this.
