I've tead a ton of good stuff about the ss scopes. I have been torn about the 6 or 10x milrad for a range gun, ut came across a used 10x42 mildot. Can't see it prior to purchase, so was wondering what would be a decent offer for it? I know they retail for 300, so was thinking in the 200 range?

I think $200 tops, otherwise spend the money for new.
Make sure you see some pics of the used one. That is not hard to do.

Thanks guys, I decided to pass on it. Not what I was looking for really, and hard to buy sight unseen off an untrusted vendor without extra pics.

Can't blame you on that one, but I paid $200 for a used one that was an earlier naked model. $300 new is still a bargain.
