They already know the Grand Jury won't indict and the evidence will show that MB attacked the cop. They are pushing this for a payday, and they'll get it because DC wants this crap to continue.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

There are legitimate objections to the way policing has developed in the US, but this case isn't one of them. If anything, all things being equal, a white cop is typically less likely to shoot a black person than a white person, due to all the trouble they get from shooting black criminals. If you look at violent crime statistics, and rates of attacks on police, blacks are many times more likely to warrant being shot by the police than whites, yet their rates of being shot by cops don't rise to match in proportion their rates of violent crime.

Its all of our faults, we don't scream loud enough that this racism by blacks has to stop. It has gone on long enough, for years everyone has lowered standards for them and found ways to forgive mistakes made by the race. If anything they should want to succeed on merit but the damn democrats like the big voting base to much to put a stop to the entitlements.
The sad part when a black person stands up to the Sharpton's and the Jacksons he is labeled a uncle tom. Instead he is attached and not looked up to as a success.

Good observations. I would add that, as I think about it, this is a newsworthy story if only to display how unreasonable the family and local response has been. As others have noted both here and in the Trayvon case, the family and its lawyers seem to have their hands out for a big damage award, however unmerited.

As others have noted both here and in the Trayvon case, the family and its lawyers seem to have their hands out for a big damage award, however unmerited. That's almost certainly the case.
