Why one over the other? Which model would you choose & why?

I have been playing with a couple VX-6 2-12s and they are really good. I was on the dark side of a canyon at last light and three different people could make out detail across the canyon with the VX-6 scope better than with high end binocs (Leica 15x56 and 8x42 and meopta 10x42). We kept comparing until it was fully dark and the brightness and clarity was amazing.

VX6 glass quality is as good as any. I own swarovski, Zeiss, NF, March, Bushnell lrhs and Vortex. Recently sold SB. Only drawback is lack of Xmas tree type reticle.

I don't know about the VX-6, but I have a 50mm VX3L and I like it a lot. Best scope I've ever owned. Next rifle will get the same.
