A close shooting pard of mine has always wanted a Remington Varmint BDL in .222 but we haven't seen one for literally years.....so I built one. Stock: Original Varmint BDL I bought from a Campfire member Barrel: off a SPS Varmint in .223, set back and rechambered to .222 1 in 12 twist Action: Off another SPS in .223 Gave him this as a gift, to thank him for his generosity. He has been playing with it all fall, I gave him a box of 50 gr TTSX as he is a fellow stunt shooter, and he put it to good work.... .222 at 237 lazered yards, heart shot, bullet exited. ![[Linked Image]](http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss45/thmsbrownlee/file0_zpsd926d0fe.jpeg)

Damn you guys, I wasn't looking for kudos in this...except for my pard, who I think has raised the bar on stunt shooting!  ( My deer was a lazered 231 yards, and taken with the much more Uber 2233AI)

( My deer was a lazered 231 yards, and taken with the much more Uber 223AI) Did you say 223 AI? You DO know that it is now customary to post pics of boobs & butts when you mention that cartridge don't you?

Really nice buck and a cool rifle. Someone may mumble something about shot placement killing deer (or other such myths) but hey, if it works roll with it  . Very nice pic and that'd be a great rig for WV groundhogs, just saying  . Congrats.
