Besides the bunch of folks from the Houston area around the Campfire I thought some others might know of places by reputation.
I live in Houston, west of the Galleria Mall, and closer is definitely preferable to farther away for an archery range since I expect to make frequent trips to the range vs. a couple a year to the archery shop.
Thanks.

Closest for you would be Addicks Shooting range off of Hwy 6. It is a nice facility. The people are a bit snooty there. If all you need is a place to shoot, check it out.
By the way, in case you missed it, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.

I understand there is a great new store on the north side on Treshwig near the Carter's Country Shooting range. My favorite little shop just north of I-10 near Gessner closed I heard.
Let me know how that Viking Shop off 59 works for you. It doesn't for me.

Triple Edge Archery in Dayton is about 20 miles outside of beltway 8 on the east side of Houston. We carry Hoyt, Mathews and BowTech bows and are in the process of building a larger store with both outdoor and indoor shooting.

Triple edge Archery and the Bow Zone on Treshwig are both outstanding Shops. Bow Zone has a range and Triple Edge will soon.

Give 7mmSAUM your business -- we were members of the same club when he lived in VA. He gave me plenty of help with my bow, even though I didn't buy it from him! John P.S. Glad to hear business is good, it seems.

Thanks for the endorsement John. Long time no see. I haven't been around the campfire much lately because I've been getting my store off the ground.
I also don't have much time to shoot my guns like I did when I was back in Virginia.
We just moved into a bigger facility and I've gotten my FFL so I'll hopefully be able to get back into shooting every weekend like I used to.
