Sitting around moms house for the holidays I was watching the tube, and caught some episodes of American Pickers. If you're not familiar, two guys run the country searching for trinkets and resellable junk for their store in Ohio. (I'm amazed they could make a living buying $5 junk and reselling it, while incurring all the expense of travelling.)

Anyway, on one Thanksgiving day episode they were going through a storage unit, as big as a warehouse, in Manhattan I believe. Said the guy had stored this junk for decades, at $5000 a month! As they were rifling through the stuff, they came across a wooden shelf or display of some sort, that the top shelves got smaller as it went up. It reminded me of the Savage display you all have been talking about, but was small, a few feet tall perhaps. They didn't spend any time on it, other than to note that it had original insignias on it, and they brushed across what looked like a Savage indian logo.

I perked right up but right then someone walked in front of the TV! Dang, what did I just see? Clearly looked like the Savage logo, but no idea what the unit was. Anybody catch it?

I am not able to log in to any of those providers as I do not have TV at home. Now I'm wondering what day it was aired... 27th/Thur, or 28th Friday.

Hate to bother, but if you can remember the day of the week (probably Wednesday?) and the time, you can log onto the History channel and find the episode. From there you can see when it will re-air...or maybe watch it via Hula or I-tunes, stuff if you have it.

If it was the 27th it was called "The Megapick".

I just went thru the archives and read the descriptions to some of the shows. Not all have descriptions so it's incomplete, but the ones I read rang no bells for me.
