I have a stainless Winchester Model 70 in .416 Remington Magnum for sale. It belongs to my friend Charlie who took it to South Africa and shot an Elephant and a Hippo with it. He has made a lot of trips over and taken lots of animals. He says he is all done with taking his own guns over, and will use Simon's if he goes to hunt there again. Is this for sure stainless? Was it a custom shop or custom barrel? Love to see some pics!

Magnet won't tell you ....barrel steel has enough carbon to be magnetic. It's not pure stainless.
