Time after time, we have seen liberals with an agenda manufacture a story that fits what they are trying to rail against. Rolling Stone published a story of rape, at UVA. The story fit all the little niches, the narritave that liberals and feminazis want told. Today Rolling Stone is saying they story may not be true, and are apologizing. Almost reminds you of the Duke Soccer players, eh? Think charges will be brought against the story's author? Nah, that won't happen. Lives ruined, a University's reputation smeared...........all to push a point of view. link to story Rolling Stone magazine retracted Friday its controversial story about an alleged gang rape at the University of Virginia after it discovered new information that discredited the piece, a shocking retreat coming merely days after author Sabrina Rubin Erdely defended the reporting.
On Nov. 19, the magazine ran a story of "Jackie," an unidentified UVA. student who says she was gang-raped at a party at the house of Phi Kappa Psi in the fall of 2012. Her shocking story, with vivid details from the night of the incident, and its charges that sexual assaults at UVA. often go unreported embarrassed the university and launched an investigation by school officials and local police. All Greek life activities were also suspended in the wake of the story.
"In the face of new information, there now appear to be discrepancies in Jackie's account, and we have come to the conclusion that our trust in her was misplaced," wrote Will Dana, the magazine's managing editor said on its website.
"We were trying to be sensitive to the unfair shame and humiliation many women feel after a sexual assault and now regret the decision to not contact the alleged assaulters to get their account," the post said. "We are taking this seriously and apologize to anyone who was affected by the story."

Several Denver police were injured, one critically after being hit by a car while escorting (protecting) young protesters that are basically protesting against them. The crowd was heard chanting and cheering "Hit him again! Hit him again!" (the critically injured cop) Hit him again????

My daughter graduated from UVA in 1997 and received her Masters in 1999. I asked her about the story in Rolling Stones and she said that she knew several girls that were sexually attacked at frat houses; it's not that unusual. Alcohol (consumed by both parties) plus a sizable dose of testosterone seem to be the active ingredients.
The story in Rolling Stones might be untrue, but the similarities to other incidents appears to exist.
