1970 Remington long action (originally 25-06)
Rifle built for me 1998 by Bobby Hart. RW Hart & Sons, Nescopek, PA Includes HART Accurizing Package.
H-S Precision stock with aluminum bedding block, free floated barrel, skim bedded in Bisonite.
Hart Rifle Barrels 24" (26" with muzzlebrake installed) stainless 1-10 twist, threaded muzzlebrake and thread protector when not using brake. 13.25" length of pull.
Action and barrel coated with Brownell's Aluma-Hyde II.
Rifle Basix adjustable trigger.
Redfield rings/mounts. Simmons Aetec 2.8x10 scope

Redding reloading dies plus Lee collet neck sizer.
3 boxes brand new 338-06 Weatherby (Norma) brass.
Plus 100+ extra fireformed brass.
I'll include all Oehler M43 chronograph load tests I can find.

Was used by me on plains game safari in Namibia 2004. Climate controlled gun vault queen ever since. I bought an R93 Blaser with 338 Win mag barrel years ago making this rifle excess. This accurate and hard-hitting rifle has a storied history. Now it and all the accessories can be yours for $750.00 Don't miss out.

Face to face transaction for PA residents. All others sent to your FFL of choice. I am an 03 FFL license holder so no surprises.

I bet there was a huge pucker factor involved. Cool pic, though.

I'm very happy with my purchase GWB and I are planning to do some hog thumping in the upcoming weeks. Might have to put this one to the test. I already own a 338-06, might as well have an AI.

Can't wait to shoot your rifle, J.

Good for you,

and a shout out to OneFun from an old AR guy.

Me too. It was at eye level coiled in a bush. Both trackers ran away. My PH screamed SHOOT IT!!!!! as he was backing up. SHOOT IT!!!!! My mind raced for the second it took to bring this rifle to my shoulder...I'll shoot underneath it if I put the crosshair smack on it's head. Cripes, I was sighted dead on at 300 yards for the wide open spaces of the Kalahari. So I aimed what I thought was the 1.5" the crosshairs were above the centerline of the barrel and squeezed the trigger...dead cobra. The black trackers practically made me their king. I found out later that this is a spitting cobra. It got lost in the salt shed so I never got the skin.

Great story! If the bullet didn't get him I'm guessing the muzzle blast would've sat him on his little snake hind end
