I'm looking for some knowledge on this rifle, just saw it at the local Cabela's store on the used rack. It's the full stock version with a micrometer peep sight on the receiver. Good overall condition on the wood, mostly brown patina on the steel from age. The store is asking $429 on the tag, I'm thinking that's a bit high considering it's at Cabela's. What is the average value of these (reality value)? Perhaps I can throw a little less at them,would make a nice addition to my Savage pile.

I'd say do a little homework first, there are several variations of the 1919, some marked some not, original? clip?, condition, etc.
A quick google search showed me $250-650.

I did look online, and saw old auction postings that did not sell. Saw some crazy high prices also. That's why I was asking for real world values from other Savage Accumulators, if the rarity doesn't justify the price-----then I'll not bother with it. I am assuming someone on this forum has dealt with these rifles before.

No, I did not jot it down. It did not have the Model # either, something I read implies that it would be an earlier version then.
