I've killed hogs with 87 grn. Speers out of my 250 with no problems.

Yes. I have killed them with bullets from 53gn Sierra's in the humble .223 Remington to 500gn Hornady's at 2500fps in the .460.
The 100gn .257 Ballistic Tip will kill any pig.

I have used 95-grain BTs in a .243 to kill a truckload of them. I wouldn't hesitate to use a 100-grain BT in my .257 AI, either.
