The guy I'm buying a gun or two from keeps pulling them out of the closet. This is a cool rifle from the 1960's. The rear sight is missing and I haven't laid hands on it yet. I'm going down there tomorrow. So, it books for $875 at 100% and he's wanting $900. I think that's a bit steep, but I don't know that market. What do you guy's think it's worth. Sorry that's the best I can do for the pictures. https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=90ca339970900fc3&id=90CA339970900FC3%211075&Bsrc=Photomail&Bpub=SDX.Photos&sff=1&authkey=!AFuMFxscM2s1fZU

I have had a couple and they are great shooters but that price sounds about $300 too high.
There were two grades, I may have the designations backwards but I think the grade 1 was a plain uncheckered stock and grade II had checkering. Obviously the checkered stock is worth more.
Another thing to be aware of it that some of the stocks were salt treated to expedite the wood drying process. Quite often the wood treated stocks created a lot of rust underneath the action and barrel. Whatever you do take a look at it removed from the stock.
Another consideration is finding an original rear-sight for it, also finding magazines can be a problem.
Not trying to discourage you but go into with your eyes open, especially at that price.

I was able to enlarge the pic's and there is some wear on the TG. It has 3 mags, but I think you are right.

Drover's about right with the price. I've got one that Browning put together from parts in the late 1970's with both Grade I and Grade II characteristics.
Midway sells aftermarket magazines.

Really neat rifles, but you do have to watch out for salt wood. To me, they are more of a collectable than practical shooters. The price you quoted seems high. Check GB. There are a couple of dealers who specialize in such stuff, and I think you can do better.
What fresh Hell is this?

Can't help with the price, but it is a great shooting, adult size 22. I got mine back in the late 70s, and would not part with it.
Good Luck!

A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

The price is too high as most nice T2's I've seen are in the $600 range.I have had two T2's for over 20 years. One is a repaired salt gun ( it was a gift and therefore worth the time and effort) that is my Squirrel rifle. The other is a safe queen in excellent shape with a great piece of walnut. Both guns shoot the old CCI Green Tag target ammo into about 1.5" at 100 yards on a calm day. I also have a new version T bolt in 17HMR and would have to disagree with bea175. The old FN guns have a much smoother action and better trigger than the new version ( I do love the double helix magazine on the new version though. It's easy to load and feeds like a dream.).

Belgian T-Bolt II's have a longer barrel than the grade 1. 24" vs 22". Factory magazines are over $50 each, if you can find them. I own a Belgian LH T2 and current LH models in all calibers offered. The Belgian T-Bolt may be a bit heavier but not by much.
