Wisconsin is becoming special to me. I like the Governor, and most of the people I've dealt with. I use SGW in Sarona for my 22 pistols. This company must be very special and I bet their employees love them. Hasbeen

Gokey was a finalist, IIRC, on American Idol.. WI is a good state now, since we got rid of the damn Dems that were in power a few years ago.. Now, if we can just keep it that way.. Sheboygan - home of some of the best sausage makers in the US.. Beer, sausage and cheese - does it get any better? I had never heard of that flag there before today - thanks for posting it.. Now I have a good reason to take a bike ride this next summer and bring the camera..

That is absolutely incredible!!!!!! I will put Sheboygan on my travel list, maybe take the ferry a cross and take a drive over there.
I love to see things like this, it tugs at the heart and makes you realise there is hope.
I'm also going to check our Acuity insurance to see if doing business with them is viable.

I was an Acuity agent back in Wisconsin for 41 years before retiring to SD. Their former name was Heritage Insurance. Changed the name in 2003 or '04.
Sheboygan is also known as the Bratwurst Capitol. Side joke was they also had the highest per capita cardiac surgeons in the USA

ive worked for mortenson before, they're a good company to work for. A side note, that base is basically a wind tower pole/base set up, ive done a lot of them, and that thing is basically identical minus the nacelle at the top holding the rotor. Big ass flag pole.

I've been past Heritage Insurance (now Acuity) on I-43 hundreds of times, and coming into the Sheboygan area was always a high point because of the size of the flag they flew at their corporate headquarters. The flagpole and flag this one replaced was huge in its own right and visible for miles. This one is just plain awesome. A must see for those willing to make the drive.
