I guess most of us have favorite hymns. Mine is "Rock of Ages" so I will sing it for Mickey.
He will be greatly missed here and probably more so at home but I rejoice in the fact that he is with our Savior forever more.

That is true--he is reunited with the pups that went ahead. He'll have a pack waiting for him', including that big dumb lab Buddy we brought home from Pat's camp. Mickey purely loved that dog...when he called me a few months ago to tell me Buddy got crosswise with a pickup, he was in tears. Buddy will be all over him.

Damn, I am deeply saddened. I bought my first AI from him, that he had built for himself, in 2005. Had a nice visit at his place. I used to it kill my only buck this year.

Steve, I remember the day you brought Buddy to Mickey's place. Doesn't seem long ago. Mickey built over a dozen rifles for me, and I watched him build every one of them. Learned a lot from him, and I'll miss him greatly.
