it's a really nice coyote... you can say that again. Both are real nice looking.

Thanks guys.. Don, great pics! Nice cats! I see you like using #4 double long springs too.. It stinks that you can only use cage traps down there nowadays, but I guess you knew that..

You can use footholds on private land with a permit.

Our Cat season started Sunday. So far I've been Skunked. BTW,,,, Hawbackers claims their Wildcat #1 won't attract stinkers because they don't use catnip.

Don, that's good to hear..
Charlie, glad you're cat trapping. If you want to try out out some new lure, you might want to give Weiser's Super Cat a try. Cain't say if it's skonk proof though..grin. Nice K22...

I catch allot of Cats with Hawbackers. I just thought it was funny that they'd make a claim like that. No big deal. Free lure as far as I'm concerned. That one's resting peacefully at the base of a pine tree with just his tail above ground and a couple of 550's nearby to keep him safe from grave robbers.

Some of you might remember my son got a mtcur pup for his birthday almost a year ago from RDfirenut that he posted for sale in the classified here, well, she is about 13 months old now and coming along pretty well. Here's one her and my fiest Rebel treeded tonight. Between the dogs and his traps my sons fur is starting to accumulate.

Fieldgrade, hopefully you'll start seeing spots instead of stripes in your traps soon!

Fieldgrade, hopefully you'll start seeing spots instead of stripes in your traps soon! I sure hope so. Congrats on today's Coon. I chuckled the other day when you told me your son has four weeks worth of hunting and trapping planned for his two week Christmas break. I'd say he's on track to get it done though. Oh,,, to be young again.

Tell me about it! I guess it keeps me young keeping up with his ambitious spirit but some days it just makes me feel old!

Verminator buddy was out this weekend and we harassed the coyotes pretty hard. I didn't get to shoot but 4 of these, but I still had a blast. Wish they all looked like the near coyote.
