I have it bore sighted and cleaned up. Cycles ammo perfectly. Haven't fired it yet. I have original barrel mounted sight in a drawer.

I think you did fine for $325.00, I have a 1915 model myself and love it.
Speer 87 grain Hot Cor bullets do very well in these rifles and kill deer and Coyotes very well.

Good place to start.
Might be a small thing but something I always notice is the grain at the tang. In this case very favorable.
Much harder for a tang crack to start and travel directly against the grain of the wood.
Welcome aboard.

Got those worm holes up on top that don't belong. Guess I would pay shipping and give your money back. GW

Beautiful rifle. Holes or no, that was a steal. And if you tire of it, drop me a line as I am looking for that chambering.

Good grab! You don't see 250s selling for that price every day.

I think the dovetail is way cool. I also think $325 is perhaps between one half to one third of its resale value. Thanks for sharing.

You seriously think a studded non-factory D&T'd EG will bring $975?
Wow.

Sorry, restocked to, haha.
Definitely a hybrid rat but probably a real good shooter. Not a $975 shooter though.

Wow. From some of the auctions I've watched on GB lately that's not so far fetched. The .250's seem to be bringing a premium now.

That windage adjustment dovetail on the tang sight is very cool, anyone ever seen that before?
I agree you got a very good price, but don't sell it, keep it and shoot it!
Merry Christmas to You!

I think you got one H&ll of a deal. Nice looking rifle and beautiful wood. Clean the threads on the 2 holes, put some plug screws in them and forget them. As others have stated, you stole the rifle. Enjoy it and shoot the heck out of it.

Wow. From some of the auctions I've watched on GB lately that's not so far fetched. The .250's seem to be bringing a premium now. Honestly, I don't see 650 their either, with the extra holes in the wood and metal. Forearm don't look right either. They were definitely fitted better than that when they left the factory. 250's do bring a premium, if the gun is right. Still a very good deal at 325.

TIME to ake up open your eyes there MD 1915 250-3000 ch trigger great condition little wear on receiver , little rust starting to show, checkering 95% OR BETTER, yes sling swilves not right , D+T.. change swilves to factory for that era. I could sell that for 900 any day of the week. Norm + Merry Christmas

I plainly see a 99EG stock set roughly fitted to a 1915 250-3000, look how proud the wood is in front of the take down metal, and it's not even a take down forearm. Theres a hybrid rat in 250 with a G forearm, a monte carlo stock and a raised front ramp on CGN right now for $350 shipped, have at it and turn it around for $900, any day of the week.
