Nothing here yet but forecast says snow should start this evening and keep it up overnight. Then temps will cool down.

wind and rain in the forecast tonight changing to snow. Little or no accumulation of snow in the valley but a fair amount in the mountains. So a white Christmas is not likely.

Aleutian Hell tends to be bi-polar. You have no idea what it's going to do from one minute to the next.

Are you in Roanoke yet?

No, that is not till January.

I will be spending Christmas in an old hotel, in a quaint little town, with a beautiful river to walk along....

Supposed to be in the high 20's and we're supposed to get 4"-6" of new snow tomorrow.

We'll have a white Christmas here. Not too much snow, maybe a foot right now, but warmer temps and higher humidity has everything coated in a thick layer of frost. Actually looks kinda nice, although it is messing with the power grid. Supposed to be around 0F, or -17C for the next while.

We have grass between the snow drifts. An interesting mix. Calling for a bit more snow tomorrow, or so they say.
