This is a straight up rattle can job on and old wood sporter stock. Rustoleum textured lawn furniture paint followed by Krylon OD green camo. Rifle is a 1909 argentine rebarreled to 7x57 and all metal is grey parkerized. I'd like to add some black webbing, but I can never find it in the stores. Good shooting, Weagle

Weagle .. that's a good looking stick ... About the only thing I'd probably do, is either use a black or dark tan webbing spray paint (or both colors together could look nice) to give it some added texture and aesthetic value ...
I would say "if it aint broke, don't fix it" ... but that's not a mantra of us rifle loonies, now is it? ............

Very nice......I'd like to see that with stainless action.
Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21. Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!

Popapi ...
"Mil-spec OD" is a very dark olive, almost brown in color ... think of the old military vehicles and artilery color ... that's the one on the bottom of Jamison's pics ... in the light, it shows more the olive color ... but when light is low, it gets very dark ...
Of course, the other is just plain old OD olive ... very green, and good looking ...just more "colorful" than the other ...
Personally, I like the Mil-spec OD ...

Jamison, Will you stop posting those pics? I already got a stock on order in "Campfire Camo" because of your pics, I can't stand the temptation! Nice outfits you got there.

Woofer, Thanks for the link. There is an ACE hardware just around the corner. Here's my other rattle can project (still needs some black). It's a VZ 24 rebarreled to 257 roberts in a Mark X stock. Entire action and barrel cold blued with Oxpho Blue from brownells. Weagle
