Tattoos seem a little silly to me. As someone mentioned earlier, the affiliation ones (soldiers, etc) make some sense.
Another one that makes sense to me are the "in memoriam" type tattoos when someone loses a child or sibling. A little butterly or some such on an ankle doesn't turn me off, either.
Tramp stamps, full sleeves and backs just look like they don't belong to me.
Don't much matter one way or the other to me. I don't have one.
Just a tip... If you ask how others feel about something, ie tattoos on women, or "How do you like my wife's new tattoo", don't be offended at the answers you may get... after all you did ask.

Not a fan of tattoos especially on women. That being said it isn't up to me who gets tattoos and who doesn't. It's not my body. But for me tattoos on a woman is like painting a walnut gun stock. If improves the look there wasn't much to the blank to begin with. And if we liken it to fine Circassian burl then it's just an awful shame. JMHO

My neice is into tattoo's! And yes, she has quite a few. What do you think - good, bad or otherwise ?
Her ink is her ink, if she is cool with it then fine, wtf should i care. More curious, however, is that you felt the need to post pics of your neice on the internet and ask total strangers what they think.
To each his own.
I'd wager she has daddy issues... hopefully resoved by now.
nice ink though.

I was standing in a bar and a friend of mine and I were talking about tramp stamps. He and were in agreement that thy did not look good at all. I was telling him about one gal right in front of us, in a rather loud voice how bad her tats looked. I said if they liked their tats so much they should put them where they could see them. I turned around and was face to face with a cute little gal and she had a beautiful tat right around here neck. It was a butterfly with flowers going out from it to the sides of her neck. I said ,just like that, and pointed to her tat. Kinda shut me up. The only tat that looked good on women I have seen.

HA! That sounds a whole lot like a "zoot suit."
The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.
