..you won't believe it, but I've handled that gun..noticed the similarity and saw that it's from Kansas (my old home).it was "built" (?) by Michael Allee of Mission, KShe showed it to me when I had him "melt" a 1911 for me a few years ago..I thought that it was a joke but he claimed that it was his own personal carry gun and that it shot greatclaimed that he could keep a magazine's worth of ammo on an IDPA target at 100 yards with itit's definitely one of a kind.

Interesting pistol build. Homely, but probably fairly practical. The price is steep for the condition of the gun, but it is a fun piece to look at and consider. Definately "out of the box" thinking at work there.
Not my cup 'o tea, but I wouldn't laugh at a guy who had such a pistol, nor would I turn one away if I really HAD to have a pistol "right freakin NOW"
Thanks for posting up the link. Ya see something new every day here.

The man who first envisioned that weapon, and then created, has some odd ideas of function vs aesthetics.
There is no reason to own an ugly gun.

That is proof that just because something can be done doesn't mean that it should be done.

Let us hope so....
...as to the price vs. what it is worth...start it at a penny on GunBroker and see where it ends up...

bad thing is it is only a few numbers away from the 38 Super Commander I posted about the other day. I would cry if someone did that to mine, then I would kill them.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

I would cry after the shot...crying before may mess up a good clear sight picture.

Hideous!!
No one's going to pay that kind of money for his abomination, it really doesn't matter how much work he put into the gun. If he truly wants to sell the gun, he needs to put a new slide on it, and re-finish the whole thing. Because all I see is a beat to crap, hideous abomination of what was once a nice gun.

Somebody should give that poor old war horse a christian burial.
