I swapped a friend of mine an Iowa deer hunt for a Montana elk hunt this fall. I enjoyed doing something different and liked spending some time in a new area. I'll be back in a few years for a 180"! The one I shot scored 157", one of my top ten whitetails for sure.

I hunted that area a couple years ago - not too far from Bloomfield. Great deer country! Yep, real nice country. I was east of Bloomfield a ways. Nice area for sure.
