They think they understand everything. They are getting a good damn deal at those rates. I know many people who make the average 40k or so family income, have health insurance and still do not get good care because they cant afford the out of pocket expenses. O-Care was not about health care it was about insurance. If you have insurance but cant afford to use it you still dont have health care.

You've not heard any squealing yet that'll compare to that when the coming 40% "surcharge" is levied upon the so called "Cadillac Plans" is put in effect.

H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E-S. The "brightest" liberal thinkers in the country seem to lack foresight and common sense. Wouldn't you think those would be two key qualities policy advisors should possess? Liberals have no foundational values, such as the Founders enumerated in the Constitution. They have built their houses of policy and "values" on shifting sand and consequently have become wrong about everything as their walls fall in. Fools they are. This,..

We have not yet begun to see or hear of all the ripples emanating from the ACA and I would not bet on the SCOTUS doing the right thing either.

If you have insurance but cant afford to use it you still dont have health care. That was my thinking. How is it health insurance if you end up owing the provider thousands of dollars?

FROM THE ARTICLE " ... In addition, some ideas that looked good to academia in theory are now causing consternation. ..." How typical. Neo-lib "progressive" academia are completely incapable of understanding unintended consequences. To them, the only way they can think is "Hey, I've got a grand idea. Let's make it a law and everything will be a'wonderful a'wondeful." Then, when it turns out that they too must obey the onerous and ridiculous law and suffer just as the worker peasants and serfs, they cry and scream and whine like little five year old girls. As stated above, HYPOCRITES! L.W.
"Always go straight forward, and if you meet the devil, cut him in two and go between the pieces." (William Sturgis, clipper ship captain, 1830s.)

America would be better off if Harvard just burned to the ground, with all of it's faculty and students in it.

The ACA is a law that can never be completely unwound. It will be with us for a long time.

I'm afraid if I was from finances in the Harvard administration and was part of the administration panel meeting with the faculty representatives, my "la-day-frikken'-da," to the faulty wouldn't be so well received.

I'd say the law is in trouble...might not get past the Supremes in June. It'll pass the Supremes. I agree. They've already upheld t once. They have too much invested in it now to back down.

My health insurance is much better than many of the O plans I have seen. It is much worse than it used to be. Many of may be surprised to find we have a Cadillac.

I was watching Rosi O' Donnel being interviewed. When she was making a show she worked with Harvard graduates. She said she brought some lunch meat for a sandwich... None of the Harvard graduates ever heard of lunch meat. That's how stupid these people are. Even Rosie makes them look dumb.
But the fruits of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Gentleness and self control. Against such things there is no law. Galations 5: 22&23

"Passing the Supremes" can have one of two meanings. The current lawsuit questions whether the Federal exchange can provide tax credits to lower income Americans in the same manner as can those that live in states that have established their own state exchanges. If the law stands as implemented then everyone can get a tax credit, no matter which exchange is used. If the Supremes decide that the currently implementation is flawed and that only people in "states" that implement an exchange are eligible for tax credits, then that leads to a very different result and one that may prove very challenging to the new Congress. So for those who forecast that the SC will pass the ACA, which outcome are you forecasting?

And I believe Congress should be getting that same spoonful of socialist medicine they've all either cheerfully or benignly embraced. They've stood by, yawning, while the public was being subjogated. There should be a SCOTUS decision that congress cannot exempt itself or any Federal employee from laws passed. That would change much.
It won't happen, and is yet another reason what began as a republic is passing through a democracy and doomed to the fate of all empires.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.
