GSP, the SG NM was a rare rifle that I sold a few years back. I'm still kicking myself for selling it! cry

This rifle helps ease the pain! Lol. smile

Kitch, that is a superb piece of firearm you have there. Like you, I have been a JOC fan since I was a boy. Unfortunately, that was a long time ago. I'd love to have one of the JOC tribute rifles, but due to my age I'm in the process of getting rid of rifles rather than acquiring new ones.

Pre 64 M70's and Parker shotguns are my Achilles heel. I just got a sweet little 22 Hornet carbine. A late X-Mass gift from me to me smile

Yooper yes the 22 Hornet is a Pre 64 M70. I was looking for a nice FWT 270 but just couldn't resist this one. I have a std rifle in the Hornet as well.
Bob is your Parker a V or VHE? Someone restocked it but did a great job by the looks of it.

I'm no whiz with this computer stuf and when I get this forum figured out maybe I can pot some pics.

It was a gorgeous day today so I decided to take my Roger Rule rifle out to the range. It's about a 1 hour drive for me and abuts the Mexican border. I was shooting 130 gr Nosler Partitions at 100 and 200 yards, and testing different holds to see what the rifle likes. I was primarily using a loose/free recoil style and grouping in the .6's to 1 MOA without much effort. I'll need to mix things up to really dial it in. This rifle definitely has great potential. I'd like to see how it handles factory 130 gr TTSX.

I was surprised at how light the recoil was. My '55 30-06 shooting 180 gr rounds was a hammer on the shoulder with its steel buttplate. This is a pussy cat.

Thanks buddy! Time to get out the heavy, high BC bullets BSA!! lmao! laugh

I had a cockeyed target holder that was a challenge today. I constantly had to self correct after finding myself canting the rifle. Temp was great though… in the 60's. smile

Eric is that a Greater Kudu skin your rifle is sitting on? I haven't shot a rifle since deer season in Nov. One more big SXS shoot in MN than it's time to get the RCBS press out and go to work.
