I just ordered a scope with this reticle and was wondering if anyone gets used to it with their varmint rifles and uses it for game hunting?
Other than not being a very heavy reticle and could get lost in some dark timber, what would be some other cons?

No cons. Works great for most everything, just better for long range varminting.

No, but I have a VX-III 4.5-14x50mm LR with the Boone & Crockett reticle that I have on a long range varmint rifle. Either one should work fine.

I used mine for a 330 yd. antelope doe last season from a 243 WSSM Savage Striker. Worked just fine.
