They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

$1225 after 6 bids and well over 6 days to go.
I'm thinking it could hit $2000. Not saying it will but it's a realistic possibility.

Well it was $505 w 2 bids when I posted this so let's say O/U at $1650 just to make it interesting. and BTW I have nothing to do with this gun or the seller.

That's the first LH Stainless Classic I've seen come up in quite awhile, especially in a non-magnum caliber.

Makes my idea of satin mag cerakoting my "blued 70's" as a sensible alternative for $180.00 a rifle.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

A guy near Festus, MO. Who used to team with Blackwood Firearms. His name is Jeff Forbush. I'll post his contact later if you want it. He's done one rifle and several sets of rings and bases. I think they look great. Yes, I got a .270 for a grand. I'd like to have this one but it's gonna be up there.

Yeah, I think "the jigs up' on getting LH Stainless Classics for reasonable on Gunbroker. Of course the prices they get make me feel good about the ones I have. You'll have to post a pic of your coated gun.

Getting down the wire on this one--I don't think the "under $1650" is going to hold.

$1926 with 12 minutes to go. Looks like my original $2000 estimate wasn't so far off.
Okay, so it was a wild ass guess and not an estimate, I can still take credit for it...

Bidding war started with less than 2 minutes to go on the auction, and ran the price up $300.
