hello all,

does anyone have any load recomendations for 155 scenars in the 30-06. i have ran them in the 308 with good results. ive got some loaded with 59 and 60 grains of h4530 to try if it would ever quit raining.

thanks Keenan

Either of those loads will work fine. Let your rifle tell you what it likes best

I have good luck with 4064 with light bullets in 30-06, but I have never found a bullet I couldn't get to shoot with the 4350's..

thanks guys. i had been playing with the 210 gr bergers in this rifle over a stiff charge of rel22. i got to thinking that the 210's might be a little heavy for antelope and our smallish texas deer. hopefully i get out and shoot the 155's monday and report back

update: got to the range this am. shot the 58 and 60 gr loads with the 155's, it really like the 60 gr load, had 5 touching in around 3/4". i will reload and reshoot the 60 gr load again.

update no. 2: went to the range this am to reshoot the 60 grain load. fired 10 rounds into less than 1", got to wobbling behind the stock around no. 7. average speed was 2960fps and a sd of about 12.

also chrono'ed the 308win with 155 scenars and 46 gr of varget. they were running 2750 with an sd of 8

The 155gr. Scenar is an amazing bullet, both to reload for and to kill with. Amazing bullet.

Hey huntr, while i was working on the loads friday, about 25 piggys ran out on the 200yd range. i was sure tempted to try some "on game" performance! i had to control the urge, being that there were other members present
