Just wondering if it's my ipad or a site problem, but I'm constantly getting an error message and the site is really slow to load.

I believe it is a site problem. It started happening for me late last night and today access to the site is sporadic.

Constantly. Worse on the iPhone than the PC. Page crash and reloads, lag, and the automatic popup open the App Store.

Guys:

I am working on this. The slow load issues.

As to the Safari issues, Apple's latest iOS 8 has a slew of issues on lots of sites, including this one. My iPad 2 was replaced by Apple a couple weeks ago because the iOS "upgrade" basically nuked it. I got a notice last night that iOS 8.1.3 is available yesterday. Have you guys installed it?

The Apple tech recommended Mercury instead of Safari for a browser on iDevices getting nuked by iOS 8, and it has worked on my iPhone 5, and for other folks as well. It's free, fast, and better!

This will get you going cleanly with Mercury in 30 seconds:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mercury-web-browser.../id331012646?mt...

Click the icon with the cloud and arrow, and it will download.

Open.

Top right hand corner, click the three-line icon.

Click Settings.

Click "Popup Options," select "Block All Popups" and click "Settings" again

Scroll down and click "Extensions"

Turn on AdBlock.

Click "Settings."

Click "Done."

Got to Campfire and log on.

Goodbye Safari.

Please let me know if that helps. I am working on the server.

Swift.

Yes, that is classic behavior of the new iOS for the iDevices.

There are various solutions in the works now. Some have to do with Apple developers, and apparently iOS 8.1.3 is not it, and some have to do with server side.

In the meantime,,please try Mercury as described above and see if that helps.

Excellent. Amazing that Apple can't do that.

I might have to update the software around here if they don't fix the new iOS issues!
