Prefer to trade this package for a Savage FCP-SR or Savage Prec Carbine in 308. Not really looking for anything else unless it's really interesting in 308. This is a Thompson G2 Contender rifle with two barrels. The only thing that's not factory here is the trigger job on the receiver. Trigger was done by Dee Whitehead in Waco several years ago and breaks completely perfect at around 1.5 lbs. Barrels are as follows: TC Custom Shop 204 Ruger, blue, 23", bull barrel (not real heavy bull bbl but a straight-no taper medium-heavy profile). 6.8SPC, stainless, 23", exact same weight and profile as 204 bbl, this one is factory TC barrel. The 204 is crazy accurate with both factory and hand loads. The 6.8 barrel I purchased used and have not fired it yet. If it's anything like the 204bbl I'm sure it'll shoot well. Both barrels will keep their 1-piece bases but scopes and rings are not included. I will also include the 204 ammo pictured. The blue box contains 64 rounds of the hand loads that I hunted with in the rifle. Also includes 2 full boxes of factory ammo as pictured (40 rds) and 3 boxes of bullets for loading (approx 400 bullets). The load data is on the top of the blue box for purchasers use if needed. The beauty of this 204 is that regardless of whether you handload or shoot factory ammo you will be buying a rifle capable of .25-.50" groups with both types of ammo as shown by pics. I do have many more target pics to show rifle's accuracy if you want to see them I'll text them to you. Didn't want to post too many pics on here and get in trouble. The wood on this rifle has very nice figure and has a few marks from normal use and hunting. Manyt more pics I can send to you. This is a great package for adult or youngster needing both a varmint/no recoil rifle and also a deer/hog rifle. Again I'm including around $200 in ammo/bullets. I wouldn't take less than $900 for this package (especially given it's performance) and as mentioned before would prefer to trade for Savage 308.

This is a perfect carbine for carrying, and its a carbine that'll outshoot a lot of guys big heavy rifles. Kinda hard to find that in a compact package. Any Savage 308's out there?

Bathroom scale reads 6.5lbs. That's with a Leupold 4-12x40 and Warne Maxima rings. My guess would be around 5-5.5lbs without scope and rings.
