I would have called Butler the MVP but quarterbacks seem to get all the glory.

Good on Brady for doing this.

The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

Could have given it to a working man. It would have changed his life. Just saying.

WTF?

Butler is on a rookie minimum contract.

As for the "working man" comment, it's called a show of gratitude to a teammate for making THE play when it was most needed.

Yep. Class act.

Compared to Tom Brady, Butler is "the working class".....

The NFL rookie minimum is $435k. Lots more to come, too. Hardly paycheck to paycheck. Don't get me wrong, Its Brady's truck to do what he wants with. If I were a multi millionaire, I would have made a different choice.

Whine much? JFC, the kid (Butler) just made THE play to save the SuperBowl for Brady and the team. The gift is appropriate.

Your envy of someone else's success is pathetic.

Thats a lot of hate for someone who is just expressing an opinion that is different from yours, isn't it?

He gave him a Chevy?

Pretty fugged up thing to do to a guy that won the game for them.

Shame on you Brady.

No hate at all, just commenting on your whining over "it's not fair" that someone gets a gift in recognition of their efforts, vs a socialistic idea of wealth redistribution based not on efforts or contribution to the actual team involved, but upon class/income warfare.

That win makes Brady the best QB to date, I would guess it is fairly important to him.

Its only redistribution if it comes from the Gov, my friend. Charity is a different matter and it used to be considered commendable. At least when I grew up. Please don't confuse the two.

Brady gives a schit-ton to charities. He gave a pickup to the TEAMMATE that made THE play to win the game. That's called a show of gratitude, not charity. Don't confuse the two.

That kind or gift buys a lot of credibility with his team. My kind of team leader!

Sure. There are a lot of valid, but incorrect, opinions in the world.
