The NFL rookie minimum is $435k. Lots more to come, too. Hardly paycheck to paycheck. Don't get me wrong, Its Brady's truck to do what he wants with. If I were a multi millionaire, I would have made a different choice. Whine much? JFC, the kid (Butler) just made THE play to save the SuperBowl for Brady and the team. The gift is appropriate. Your envy of someone else's success is pathetic. That win makes Brady the best QB to date, I would guess it is fairly important to him. Saved Brady's aze after that pick he tossed in the first quarter. no, that would the the compound wrist fracture on the ensuing tackle......

I accept your opinion as valid. I hope you are man enough to do the same. Your first post on this thread was just too "obamaish" for you to EVER overcome it.

Pretty fugged up thing to do to a guy that won the game for them.
Shame on you Brady.
Travis Ya, Brady should have gave him one of them "Tojo" rigs, huh.

Butler may have well saved the game. It was a really stupid play call from the bench but if it had been completed short of a TD or fallen incomplete, they had Lynch to fall back on and he's not one who the defense can stop at will. This was a very nice gesture by Brady to show his appreciation for a rookie who did his job exceptionally well.

Ya, Brady should have gave him one of them "Tojo" rigs, huh. If he wanted the man to feel appreciated? Yes. "Hey Butler. Want you to have this Chevy, bro!" "Ummm...nah Tom. That's cool dude. You earned it. Really." "No way man. This is yours. Not taking no for an answer." "Ummmm... ok man. Thanks a bunch I guess." Travis

That ain't hate, bro. You expressed your opinion, he thinks it's a stupid opinion, and he said so in no uncertain terms.

Travis 'Flave, that truck was THE truck (this year) that is awarded to the MVP. So Brady handing over those keys was about AS STRONG A GESTURE as possible. Basically he said "Ok, so you think I was MVP, but I think it was Butler, so look what I do with your award. I give it to him." It was about the gesture, not about the car or anything else. He took the award and passed it on.
